Inspired by a passage from Gretel Ehrlich's memoir "A Match to the Heart". The handpainted pages include metal leaf and were imaged both before and after assembly. Text was both painted and laser transfer. The spine cloth is of painted fabric, the covers of paste paper. Created during a workshop with Tim Ely in eastern Washington state.
